A native of Illinois, Ross Wolf played collegiate baseball at Wabash Valley (IL) Community College, and was later selected by the Florida Marlins in the 18th round of the 2002 Amateur Draft.
In August of 2008, Ross made his Big League debut with the Florida Marlins. Prior to that, Wolf compiled a 4-2 record with a 2.82 ERA in Triple A.
As a member of the Oakland A's organization in 2010, Ross was recalled to the Big Leagues on July 7th and provided solid work out of the bullpen. He signed with the Houston Astros prior to the 2011 season and should serve in the same capacity there.
Matt and Paul have always treated me with respect - that's something that's really important to me.
