A former 23rd round pick of the New York Yankees organization, Eric Hacker joined the Pittsburgh Pirates midway through the 2009 season. After an impressive stint in Triple A Indianapolis, Eric was called up by the Pirates on September 7th to make his Major League debut.
In 2010, Hacker led the entire Minor Leagues in wins, leading the Minnesota Twins to sign him to a Major League contract. Prior to the 2012 season, the Giants brought Hacker back to the organization and Eric made his first Major League start on April 27.
