Player Biography
Chris Heisey, Cincinnati Reds
A 17th round pick out of Division III Messiah College in central Pennsylvania, Chris Heisey was the Reds' Minor League Player of the Year in 2009 after spending the year in Double and Triple A. He posted a .314 AVG to go along with 22 home runs and 77 RBIs and participated in the Futures Game during All-Star weekend.
Chris made his Major League debut on May 3, 2010 and was a solid contributor throughout the season in the Reds outfield. He looks forward to further establishing himself in the Big Leagues in 2011.
