Eric Thames, Seattle Mariners

A 7th round pick in the 2008 Amateur Draft, Eric was the Blue Jays' 2010 Double-A MVP after compiling 27 HRs and 104 RBIs. Ranked as the organization's #12 prospect by Baseball America prior to the 2011 season, Thames scorched Triple-A pitching with a .342 AVG. Eric was called up to the Majors and made his Major League debut on May 18, 2011 against the Rays.

Thames was recently traded to the Seattle Mariners where he'll bolster their outfield for the remainder of the 2012 season.

Adam is there in good times and bad. He was the first person I saw when I woke up in the hospital after surgery and the first person at the field when I made my Major League debut. Knowing he is there whether I struggle or succeed means the world to me.
