Matt Moore, Tampa Bay Rays
An 8th round selection by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2007 Amateur Draft, Matt Moore quickly established himself as one of the top pitching prospects in the Minor Leagues. Moore led all of the Minors in strikeouts in 2009 and 2010 and became the first player since 2005 to record over 200 strikeouts in a season during his 2010 campaign.
After pitching in the 2011 Futures Game, Moore made his Major League debut on September 14, 2011 against the Orioles. Following the 2011 season, highlighted by his playoff start against the Rangers, Matt signed a 5 year / $14M extension with only 9 innings of service time accumulated at the time of the signing.

Matt, Jon and the entire Sosnick Cobbe team have been everything I could ask for in an agency. Playing in Florida and having Tripper in the area has been great. Everyone is always just a phone call away.
